Climate - The average temperature in May is about 15-20 degrees centigrade.
Money - Currency exchange is available at banks, hotels and the airport. The official exchange rate is approximately USD1 to RMB6.7 but this rate varies daily. Credit card such as VISA, MASTER, JCB, and AMERICAN EXPRESS can be accepted in various ATMs in the city.
Cash - It is advisable to bring enough cash or traveler's checks to China, because exhibition departments can only accept cash when payment of small amount occurs at the exhibition on site.
Insurance - Exhibitors and delegates are advised to effect insurance for their personal property, exhibits, travel and health.
Electric Power - The power supply in China is 220V, 50Hz (single phase), 380V, 50Hz (three-phase). The sockets and plugs used in China might be a little different from those in your home country, so modification onsite might be necessary. |
