| CHINA CYCLE 2008 (The 18th China International Bicycle & Motor Fair) ended successfully on April 28. In four days, the show attracted 63963 visitors from 104 nations and regions and 6641 visitors came from abroad. CHINA CYCLE covered 9 exhibition halls with 1100 exhibitors. |

Colnago will release their new book in Chinese |

Colnago will relase their new book of Colnago bikes in Chinese during the show. Mr. Colnago, founder and president of Colnago will come to Shanghai to sign names for the new book. There will be an press conference on 11:00 of Apr. 25, in Conference Room W1-M1, outside Hall W1. Mr. Colnago will briefly introduce the book on the press conference and make interviews with the press. On Apr. 25 and Apr. 26, Mr. Colnago will also like to sign the names and send the books freely to the visitors in their booth, 0905, Hall W1. |

Shimano 2007: Sales Back on Track |

(BIKE EUROPE) OSAKA, Japan – 2007 has been very profitable for Shimano. For the second year in succession the component manufacturer managed to grow its turnover and net income. Total net sales reached JPY 211,767 million (€ 1,228 million), an increase of 24.3% compared with the previous year. Net overall income saw bumper growth with 44.4% to JPY 19,894 million (€ 115 million). For the current year Shimano expects a further growth in net sales with 6.2% and income with 20.6%.

(BIKE EUROPE) DIEREN, the Netherlands – Only three weeks after Gazelle's announcement of the resignation of its CEO, the Dutch bike manufacturer found a successor. It is Bert Piëst (48). He started yesterday in Dieren, The Netherlands, home of Gazelle. |
